Webs Catalunya is led by Otger Espinet, a web developer and SEO consultant. Based in Terrassa, Barcelona, we work with businesses, local subsidiaries and international teams, directly or alongside their agencies.
We combine web development, technical SEO and an understanding of how the business works.
Clear responsibility for the work
Otger is directly involved in planning, technical work and project development. He reviews the starting point, recommends priorities and coordinates implementation.
When specialist input is needed, we bring in the relevant collaborators. Direct clients and partner agencies work with Otger, with responsibilities and communication agreed for each project.
For work managed by an agency or an international head office, we define how our contribution fits into the wider team and who handles communication with the end client.
Programming and SEO from the beginning
Between 2003 and 2007, Otger worked as a programmer at an internet portal in Terrassa. There, he discovered how code, structure and content could influence search rankings. Programming and SEO complemented each other early on and have remained connected throughout his work.
Webs Catalunya has been trading since 2007. It grew through web development commissions and other digital projects that came through professional contacts and referrals. That trust helped establish an independent business built on technical knowledge and direct client relationships.

Experience with businesses and international teams
We work with SMEs, industrial businesses and professional service firms, as well as subsidiaries and distributors connected to international groups.
Our experience includes projects for large industrial companies, including an Italian building products manufacturer and a British precision instruments manufacturer. Some of our projects have been delivered in collaboration with other agencies.
These projects involve understanding the local business and coordinating with the people responsible for the brand, content or website at group level. We can contribute to a defined part of a project or provide ongoing web and SEO support.
Internationalisation driven by clients’ needs
Our internationalisation work began in 2010, when an existing client started exporting. Supporting that business led us to research opportunities for its products, considering demand and the economic and business context of each market. We later extended this work to other clients that were also starting to export.
That experience reinforced an approach we still follow: understand the audience, the information it needs and the business’s commercial priorities before adapting the website.
We also have experience with projects aimed at Japan, with native Japanese support for translation, linguistic review and cultural adaptation.
You can communicate directly with Otger in English, Catalan and Spanish. We develop websites and content in these languages, with specialist linguistic collaborators supporting French and Japanese adaptations.

Professional involvement and ongoing learning
Otger is a member of the 2025–2027 board of the Associació de SEO en Català, which works to improve the visibility of Catalan online.
Associació de SEO en Català →Webs Catalunya is also a member of Cecot, the cross-sector employers’ organisation founded in Terrassa, and Aseitec, Catalonia’s association of IT and telecommunications businesses.
